I, Shaun Logan, am the founder of Logan Kinei. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I founded Logan Kinei in 2014 as I recognized huge gaps between the realms of physical therapy, rehab, fitness training, sport training, work and play. At that time, I set out to help change and improve upon the current approach to health and fitness, especially with regards to human movement. However, what I was actually seeing was huge gaps in health, and life, in general.
Through my experiences of working and interacting with people who have pain and injury, I began to question. I was questionning everything, and I started questionning early on, which led to the start of Logan Kinei in 2014. However, it wasn't until the end 2018 that I actually gained more clarity on my path. I realized that I was actually questioning the appraoch of Western medicine, our health care system. But, not only was I questioning health care, I was also questioning the popular societal approach to life.
Through questionning, continuing to work with people, and self inquiry, I also realized that movement is a small piece of the overall picture. Movement is a limb of life, however the way I have always been able to help people the most is through personal connection. Most of the issues I have seen with people stem from a strong connection to the mind. To help people, to teach and guide others, I build trust and the ability to be vulnerable.
I recognize that all people have to improve themselves first, their awareness (or consciousness), to further evolve throughout our lives. As humans, we can only help others once we first help ourselves. This is the evolution of life. The more clarity we get, the more self accepting we are, the more joyful life becomes. With joy comes all else.
We all have the ability to achieve great things in life, but we have to be able to move beyond the pull of self doubt, self consciousness, comparing ourselves to others, and our past. We can do this, and I recognizes the strength of providing help and guidance to others through this process.
Throughout the year of 2019, Shaun is participating in the Fit for Service Mastermind with Aubrey Marcus of Onnit. He also strongly connects to the teachings of Wim Hof, Joe Dispenza, Rupert Spira, Sri Ramana Maharshi and Nisargadatta Maharaj, to name a few, to improve his own life as well as help others.
Honestly, I have never been more excited about life.
I look forward to working with some very special people to create a place for people to see themselves in a positive light and then be able to spread the energy and love with others.
At Logan Kinei, we proudly support Sea Legacy, Charity: Water, and the Farmers Footprint. All of these causes are working to connect us, humans, back with nature, clean water, and quality food. A necessary step if we are to survive as a species, and help this earth and all living beings thrive.

James Logan is the co-host of the Logan Kinei Podcast. He has performed professionally as a guitarist in various bands, and as a vocalist for his solo act. He also has a degree in marketing and philosophy. From a young age, James has been inquisitive of the world around him, and this curiosity found its way through the outlet of art, and the appreciation of literature.
After taking time off from performance to start a family, James became increasingly dedicated to the pursuit of self-realization and self-mastery. Having found resonance with many eastern teachings as well as their western counterparts, James believes that to identify and understand the common thread between the expressions of wisdom therein is to unveil the mysteries of our existence, and adjust one’s lifestyle in accordance.
As a representative of Logan Kinei, James seeks to provide a platform for discussion that can educate, illuminate, and encourage increased awareness.

Jon Logan is the producer, visual director, and editor of the Logan Kinei Podcast. He is working on a Degree in English, and has a personal interest in Art, Literature, Philosophy, and Anthropology. From a young age, Jon has performed alongside James as a bass player, playing in bands and accompanying solo artists on the east coast-- particularly in the Hip-Hop scene. Jon has also pursued a career as a singer/ songwriter.
After years in the music world, Jon took a hiatus from performing, as well as any public expression of his artistic interests. During this time, he fostered particular effort to assess the anxieties and expectations that accompany a young performer entering the adult world. This self-inquiry ultimately blossomed into an interest in mindfulness, philosophical discourse, and the teachings of both old and new world spirituality. He is inspired by the works of figures such as Plato, Henry David Thoreau, Lao Tzu, Rupert Spira, Mooji, and Napoleon Hill.
It is through the pursuits of Logan Kinei, and philosophical discourse as a whole, that Jon seeks to better understand his place in the world. He believes in addressing his personal struggles through a practice of examination and awareness, and seeks to help others develop similar practices. This, he believes, will ultimately be a co-creative experience that contributes to an overall, community health.
